You can find all sorts of bags at thrift stores and yard sales, and you will have used something no longer in use, rather than to have raw materials created for your personal consumption. I'm not saying it's not good to buy new, but just that real sustainability comes with minimalism.
Another fun thing is taking some old fabric, doing a simple sew and sticth, add handles...and there you have it. Unique in all the world...and recycled. -
